About the team
Our internship program provides an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that will impact our products and users. Through the internship, you will work with modern technologies, gain real-world experience, and have opportunities to present your work to the team. Each intern has dedicated mentorship, and every project is part of our roadmap.
What you'll do
Join our engineering team as an intern to build end-to-end web applications. You'll work on both frontend and backend development, creating scalable and performant solutions using modern technologies. The first 4 months will be unpaid, after which compensation will be provided based on your performance and contribution to the team. Please note that you will need to provide your own system (laptop/computer) for this position.
Responsibilities
- •Write clean, maintainable code for both frontend and backend systems
- •Build responsive web applications using React.js/Next.js and TypeScript
- •Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
- •Design and implement database schemas using MongoDB
- •Collaborate with team members through code reviews and design discussions
- •Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning
- •Learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks quickly
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- •Basic understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- •Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React preferred)
- •Basic knowledge of backend development concepts
- •Understanding of version control systems (Git)
- •Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- •Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- •Own system (laptop/computer) for remote work
Preferred qualifications
- •Experience with Next.js and TypeScript
- •Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or similar CSS frameworks
- •Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js
- •Understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- •Experience with Docker and containerization
- •Previous internship or project experience
- •Portfolio showcasing web development projects
